The X-Men must unite as one to defeat Apocalypse from destroying all of mankind and the world. Once again Rotten Tomatoes are wrong about this movie. It’s amazing and is everything any X-Men fan would want. The actors do a very good job portraying their characters, the action was shot so perfectly, and Quicksilver gets his own scene at slowing down time better than Days of Future Past. Apocalypse is the biggest enemy that the X-Men ever fought up against in the whole series and he was the perfect villain. He’s not a cliché kind of bad who wants to destroy the world cause of some goofy complex reason. His plan is easy and well thought out. Sophie Turner was so much better as Jean Grey than Famke Janssen in my honest opinion. I would love to see her in a standalone movie about Jean Grey’s backstory.  I don’t get why this has so manybad reviews but I couldn’t find one thing wrong. I guess it’s too dark for family to see but that’s how comic book movies become great and remembered.  Verdict: 8.4.
